Macbeth
I often think about these words from Shakespeare so it shouldn't surprise me how often I see them referred to in other contexts. You can always depend on Shakespeare to produce those timeless phrases which other writers rely on.
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
